¿ What are we supposed to do to avoid gaining weight and still enjoy our December traditions?

Do not skip any meal: Fasting for long periods of time could potentially harm your health, due to the food restriction and drink could cause low performance in our day-to-day activities from a physical lethargy, to health decompensations.

Stay active at least 4 times a week: doing any physical activity extra as a sport if necessary during this time if necessary go for a 30-minute walk or a high-intensity workout

Drink 2 liters of water daily: decreasing your water intake os one of the biggest mistakes we can make, remember that we are 60-70 % water. Staying hydrated will help us keep our organs in balance, including your skin.

Avoid having heavy dinners every day: There will be days like Christmas eve and new years eve that tend to have a higher caloric intake, and it is ok to have a heavier dinner 1 or 2 days a week but try your best to eat balanced the rest of the week.

Control your Alcohol Intake: alcohol inside of our bodies are only carbohydrates and sugar, Therefore, each alcoholic beverage contains a lot of calories, not to mention that some soda, syrups, and creams usually have added sugar.
