Work and Wellness Don’t Always Go Together...But They Should

October is here, and with it brings more changes as we head into the fall months. We don’t have to tell you that 2020 has been a challenging year. Stress and anxiety are at an all-time high due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Many people have made the transition to work remotely.

Working from home can have benefits, but not surprisingly, it also presents some challenges. These challenges arise in many areas such as: work-life balance, juggling the stress, responsibilities, mental health, and of course maintaining a healthy body and protecting ourselves from illness. This is a lot to take on in the effort of maintaining optimal health and wellness, but we’re here to help! 

The terms "wellness" and "well-being" are trendy, but what do they really mean? How do we achieve well-being in all areas of our life? This month, we're focusing on work and wellness. This focus on work and wellness applies to our body, mind, and spirit in true Optimal Living Summit fashion.

We know this topic is relatable to so many of us, and the fall months can be dreary with winter approaching, so we’re here to bring the fun! In the spirit of fun and surprise, we’ve got two exciting workshops coming up – but we’re not giving away too much! We hope you’ll bring an open mind, comfy clothing, and an interest in improving your own wellness in this unique and challenging time.
